What is a Double-Stop Slip Lead?
Traditional slip collars and leads can easily over-tighten when a dog pulls, or slip right off if the dog backs away. Our intelligent double-stop design solves both issues! It features two highly durable BioThane® stops: an anti-choke safety stop to prevent the loop from infinitely tightening, and an anti-escape stop that keeps the collar secure when the lead goes slack.
Will the rope rub or irritate my dog's neck?
Not at all! We craft the main lead from ultra-premium 10mm double-braided Nylon rope. Featuring a fine 48-strand woven sheath, it has a stunningly silky, shiny surface that will never catch or rub your dog's fur. Furthermore, the BioThane® elements are smooth, flexible, and completely non-absorbent, making them incredibly gentle even on dogs with sensitive skin.
How do I clean my slip lead after a muddy walk?
Because we use premium, mildew and rot-resistant nylon rope, it handles wet and muddy walks brilliantly! The BioThane® handle and stops will never absorb water or odours. To clean it, simply wipe the BioThane® sections with a damp cloth or rinse the lead under running water, and it will look brand new in seconds.
Is this lead suitable for strong dogs that pull?
Absolutely. Because the anti-choke stop prevents the neck loop from over-tightening, it acts as a fantastic, force-free training tool that won't cause discomfort.
