Fully adjustable at both the headpiece and under the chin so it fits your horse's actual head shape rather than near enough, with a quick-release clip on the throatlash that makes grooming and tacking up considerably less of a wrestle. 🐴 The Strapping: Crafted from 16mm genuine BioThane® BETA. This premium PVC-coated webbing provides incredible strength but is strictly waterproof, flexible, and completely odour-resistant.

🐴 The Rope: Premium 10mm PPM (Polypropylene Multifilament) rope. Highly durable, incredibly lightweight, and highly resistant to weather and mildew.

🐴 The Hardware: We know how harsh the UK weather can be. That is why we use heavy-duty, rust-resistant buckles, rings and Chicago screws. Your hardware is built to survive the absolute worst of the winter without failing!

To give you true artistic licence, I offer a massive variety of shades in my Endless Colour range. If your chosen materials are currently in stock in my workshop, I will craft and dispatch your order within a week! If you choose a unique shade that I need to order from my premium supplier in the Netherlands, delivery can take up to 3 weeks.I always hold a steady stock of most colours, so more often than not, your custom gear will be crafted and shipped very promptly.

What exactly is BioThane® and is it actually waterproof?

Yes, it is 100% waterproof! BioThane® is made from a highly durable webbing coated with PVC or TPU, giving it a premium, leather-like feel while being strictly waterproof and flexible. It does not absorb moisture, so it stays light, comfortable, and completely free from nasty yard smells.

Will the materials rub my horse's face?

Not at all! BioThane® features a smooth, non-porous surface that is incredibly gentle on the skin and coat, helping to prevent any irritation. It is completely smooth and flexible, meaning it won't rub or catch on your horse's fur. The 10mm PPM rope is also incredibly lightweight and soft, making this headcollar perfect for sensitive horses!

Will the hardware rust in the rain?

Absolutely not. We know how brutal the UK weather can be, which is why we bypass standard brass or cheap alloys and exclusively use premium Stainless Steel buckles, rings, and rivets. They are heavy-duty and built to survive the absolute worst of the winter without rusting or failing.
