A Versatile "One Size Fits Most"
Our fillet strings are designed to be incredibly versatile. Using the sliding bar buckle, the strap is fully adjustable from 40cm right up to 60cm, making it incredibly easy to fit everything from small pony rugs to large horse turnouts.

Materials

🐴 The Strap: Crafted from 100% genuine BioThane® BETA. This premium PVC-coated webbing provides incredible strength but is strictly waterproof, flexible, and odour-resistant.

🐴 The Hardware: We know how harsh the UK weather can be. That is why we use heavy-duty, rust-resistant hardware (including the swivel snaps at both ends and the sliding bar buckle). It is built to survive the absolute worst of the winter without failing!

I don't just pull items off a dusty shelf. Every single piece of performance gear is completely bespoke and meticulously handcrafted to order by me, right here in the UK.

Current Lead Times: 1 to 3 Weeks

To give you true artistic licence, I offer a massive variety of shades in my Endless Colour range. If your chosen materials are currently in stock in my workshop, I will craft and dispatch your order within a week! If you choose a unique shade that I need to order from my premium supplier in the Netherlands, it can take up to 3 weeks to make. I always hold a steady stock of most colours, so more often than not, your custom gear will be crafted and shipped very promptly.

I also post to Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, and to Australia and New Zealand, by Royal Mail International Tracked. Postage is worked out by the weight of your order and shown at checkout before you pay, from £7.50 to Europe and from £8.00 to Australia and New Zealand.

Royal Mail aims to deliver within 3–5 working days to Europe and 5–7 working days to Australia and New Zealand after dispatch, on top of the making time above.

Will this fit my horse's rug?

Yes! Our fillet strings are designed as a versatile "one size fits most" solution. Using the sliding bar buckle, the strap is fully adjustable from 40cm right up to 60cm, making it incredibly easy to fit everything from small pony rugs to large horse turnouts.

How do I attach it to the rug?

We use heavy-duty stainless steel swivel snaps at both ends of the strap. Simply clip them directly onto the existing D-rings at the back of your horse's rug. No sewing, knot-tying, or fiddling with frozen fingers required!

What makes this better than a normal fabric fillet string?

Traditional fabric or elastic strings soak up urine, mud, and rain, becoming stiff and unhygienic. Because this strap is made from 100% BioThane, it is completely waterproof and non-porous. It won't hold smells or bacteria, and you can just wipe it clean with a damp sponge in seconds.

Will the clips rust in the winter rain?

No! We know how harsh the UK weather can be. That is why we exclusively use premium stainless steel hardware for our fillet strings to ensure they survive the absolute worst of the winter without rusting or failing.
