Our fillet strings are designed to be incredibly versatile. Using the sliding bar buckle, the strap is fully adjustable from 40cm right up to 60cm, making it incredibly easy to fit everything from small pony rugs to large horse turnouts.

Will this fit my horse's rug?

Yes! Our fillet strings are designed as a versatile "one size fits most" solution. Using the sliding bar buckle, the strap is fully adjustable from 40cm right up to 60cm, making it incredibly easy to fit everything from small pony rugs to large horse turnouts.

How do I attach it to the rug?

We use heavy-duty stainless steel swivel snaps at both ends of the strap. Simply clip them directly onto the existing D-rings at the back of your horse's rug. No sewing, knot-tying, or fiddling with frozen fingers required!

What makes this better than a normal fabric fillet string?

Traditional fabric or elastic strings soak up urine, mud, and rain, becoming stiff and unhygienic. Because this strap is made from 100% BioThane, it is completely waterproof and non-porous. It won't hold smells or bacteria, and you can just wipe it clean with a damp sponge in seconds.

Will the clips rust in the winter rain?

No! We know how harsh the UK weather can be. That is why we exclusively use premium stainless steel hardware for our fillet strings to ensure they survive the absolute worst of the winter without rusting or failing.
