Our BioThane® & Rope Split Reins bring the same hybrid feel as the Liberty Neck Rope to your everyday riding: a soft 10mm rope body for honest, comfortable contact, finished with hard-wearing BioThane® BETA sections at each end.

Two separate reins, no joined loop — nothing to dangle, nothing to catch, and easy to ground-tie. Swivel eye clips fasten to a bit or to a bitless bridle, and swivel freely so your reins never twist or kink. They pair beautifully with the All Weather Rope Halter fitted with optional Side Pull Rings.

Waterproof, stink-proof and wipe-clean. Mud, sweat and British weather come straight off, without a crack or a whiff in sight.

Our Split Reins come as a pair of two separate reins. Measurements show the length of each rein, with the combined total in brackets.

🐴 Pony: 1.50m per rein (3m total)
🐴 Cob: 1.80m per rein (3.60m total)
🐴 Full: 2.10m per rein (4.20m total)

If your chosen materials are currently in stock in my workshop, I will craft and dispatch your order within a week! Split reins are two separate reins with no joined loop in the middle — nothing to dangle, catch or drag, and you can ground-tie easily. A favourite for groundwork and trail riding.

Can I match them to my Liberty Neck Rope?

What clip colours can I choose?
